National Jeweler reported in January 2025 that McCormack had not responded to its request for comment and had not publicly confirmed making the ring. Later coverage has used firmer design language, but absent direct confirmation, “reportedly designed by” or “appears to match” is the more precise wording. How many carats is Zendaya’s ring?
About five carats is the figure most commonly associated with the ring, largely because the McCormack design to which it has been compared is listed at 5.02 carats. Other published estimates differ. Only Natural Diamonds described it as approximately five carats, while other jewelry coverage has offered different assessments. No grading report or other gem documentation establishing the stone’s weight appears in the cited coverage, so 5.02 carats should not be presented as a confirmed measurement of Zendaya’s diamond.

Reports also differ on whether the stone is natural or lab-grown. The reviewed sources do not establish its origin, and a general statement by a jeweler about preferring natural stones is not evidence about this particular diamond.

There is no verified sale price or appraisal in the reporting. Experts quoted by ELLE offered estimates ranging from about $120,000 to $300,000, with one estimate of £300,000–£400,000, reported as $370,000–$500,000, conditional on whether the diamond was natural or lab-grown. National Jeweler reported estimates of roughly $100,000–$150,000 and as much as $500,000 if the stone were natural. These are attributed opinions, not a consensus or a confirmed market value.

The estimates differ in part because the ring’s exact weight, grading, stone origin, and other valuation details have not been established. Without that information, choosing one figure as the ring’s value would overstate what is known.
