Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIf you can’t go live after moving a YouTube channel, first make sure you’ve selected the moved channel, then check its live-stream eligibility and restrictions in YouTube Studio and confirm your user role can manage live streams. YouTube’s published transfer instructions do not say that moving a channel automatically resets live-stream access, so the timing alone does not prove the transfer caused the problem.
First check which channel is selected
A Google Account can have access to more than one YouTube channel. In YouTube, switch to the channel that was moved, then open YouTube Studio and check its live-stream status. The transfer workflow itself asks you to choose the relevant Google Account and warns you to verify which channel will move and which may be replaced. See YouTube’s Brand Account transfer instructions.
Check live-stream eligibility and restriction notices
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction within the past 90 days to live stream. In YouTube Studio, review the channel’s live-stream eligibility or features status, along with any notices, strikes, copyright notifications, or emails from YouTube. Follow the instructions shown for the specific notice; an account-specific status cannot be diagnosed from the transfer date alone. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips and guidance on live-stream restrictions.
A restriction can disable live streaming temporarily or permanently. YouTube explicitly prohibits using another channel to live stream while an account is restricted. Resolve the restriction or follow the stated appeal process rather than trying to route around it.

If the owner can stream but a delegate cannot
Check the delegate’s current access in YouTube Studio. YouTube lists Owner, Manager, and Editor among the roles that can manage live streams; Viewer roles cannot. The precise capabilities are described in YouTube’s channel-permissions guide.
Brand Account roles and YouTube Studio channel permissions are separate access systems. YouTube’s transfer guidance says a channel may need to opt out of Studio permissions for a transfer, and that existing Studio permission users must be removed before proceeding. After a move, confirm which access system applies and whether the intended operator still has an appropriate role. See YouTube’s permissions migration guidance.

Use the error message to narrow the cause
API or integration reports liveStreamingNotEnabled
Google defines this error as meaning live streaming has not been enabled for the channel; channel settings may provide more detail. Check the channel’s live-stream status and eligibility in Studio rather than treating the error as proof of a transfer reset. See YouTube Live Streaming API errors.
You have reached a creation limit
If YouTube says the channel has reached its daily live-stream creation limit, YouTube’s guidance is to try again in 24 hours. This is a separate limit and, by itself, does not show that a channel transfer caused a lockout.

What the transfer documentation does—and does not—say
YouTube’s transfer instructions cover prerequisites and warn that replacing a destination channel deletes that destination channel and its associated content, including videos, messages, playlists, history, and verification badge. They do not say that transferring a channel automatically clears live-stream access or that access must always be re-enabled afterward. Treat the transfer as context, not a confirmed cause.
If the channel appears eligible and the acting user has a suitable role but live streaming remains unavailable, collect the channel URL or ID, transfer date, exact Studio status or error text, and the user’s current permission role. Use YouTube Help’s troubleshooting or support options with those details; only YouTube can inspect the account-specific state.

Before attempting another transfer
- Have the primary owner start the move and verify both the channel being moved and the destination.
- Check whether the channel must opt out of Studio channel permissions; remove existing Studio permission users if the transfer workflow requires it.
- Read the destination-channel replacement warning carefully. Choosing a destination already associated with another channel can delete that channel and its content.
- Do not make a second move simply to test whether live access returns. The published guidance does not establish that a transfer resets live-stream eligibility.

After access is restored: keeping a prerecorded stream running
A streaming service or encoder can help keep an authorized stream running, but it cannot change channel eligibility, permissions, or an active restriction. For a prerecorded YouTube stream that should continue while your computer is off, StreamNeo runs uploaded videos from the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It is YouTube-only and does not stream from a camera.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps the stream running without a computer or home connection staying on. Each slot streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month.
