No. YouTube prohibits someone whose channel has been terminated from using another YouTube channel, including to livestream. Having another creator host the stream does not make it a permitted workaround.
What YouTube’s termination rule means
YouTube Help states: “If your YouTube channel is terminated, you are prohibited from using, possessing, or creating any other YouTube channels.” The rule covers channels you already own, create or acquire after termination, and channels in which you are repeatedly or prominently featured. YouTube also prohibits someone else from letting a terminated creator use their channel to bypass the termination. YouTube Help: Channel or account terminations
That means you cannot livestream from a friend’s, colleague’s or family member’s channel as a way to keep publishing after your own channel is terminated. Changing who presses “Go live” or who nominally owns the channel does not create a stated exception. YouTube’s public guidance does not define every borderline situation, so it cannot predict how a particular set of facts will be assessed.
If YouTube restricted only your livestreaming
A livestreaming restriction is distinct from a full channel termination, but it also cannot be bypassed through another channel while active. YouTube says: “If your account has been restricted from live streaming, you’re prohibited from using another channel to live stream on YouTube.” It describes doing so as circumvention that may result in termination. Check the notice and account status to determine whether YouTube terminated the channel or restricted livestreaming. The rules above explain YouTube’s stated policy; they are not a diagnosis of an individual account.
How to challenge a Community Guidelines termination
- Review the termination notice. Identify the stated reason and follow any case-specific directions.
- Open YouTube Studio and review the termination information. YouTube directs creators to Studio to review the reason and start an appeal.
- Submit an appeal through the available Studio flow. YouTube Help says creators may appeal up to one year after termination and may submit up to two appeals during that year, subject to limits for an individual termination. Follow the current Studio flow and your notice for the options available in your case. YouTube Help: Channel or account terminations
Appealing is the official route described by YouTube; the public guidance does not guarantee a particular outcome. Do not use another channel to livestream while waiting for a decision.

About streaming tools and another channel
Streaming software or a cloud service cannot override YouTube’s channel-use rules.
