The date marked the start of the remaining six episodes of Season 5, Part 2—the concluding episodes of the original five-season run.
The announcement ended a wait of almost two years. The first eight episodes of Season 5 had finished airing in January 2023, leaving six episodes still to come. Those final episodes ultimately aired weekly from November 10 through December 15, 2024.
When did the final six Yellowstone episodes premiere?
Paramount Network set the Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 premiere for Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Paramount made the announcement on June 20, 2024, while production was underway in Montana.
The date referred specifically to the second part of Season 5, not a new season. Season 5 contained 14 episodes in total: eight in Part 1 and six in Part 2.

Why the November date mattered
The return date resolved a long-running scheduling delay. Season 5, Part 1 ended in January 2023, and viewers waited nearly two years for the remaining episodes. Contemporary coverage connected the delay with the Hollywood strikes and production complications. Paramount’s own announcement confirmed the eventual production status: filming for the remaining episodes was underway in Montana.
That distinction matters. The official announcement established the premiere date, time, production location and distribution plans; it did not provide a complete explanation of every behind-the-scenes cause of the delay.
How many episodes were left?
Six episodes remained after the first half of Season 5. They were promoted as the final six episodes of the original Yellowstone run. The broader franchise has continued through other projects, so “final” here refers to the original series and its fifth season—not necessarily every future story connected to the Yellowstone universe.

The six episodes aired weekly rather than arriving all at once. Paramount+’s U.K. episode guide lists the following titles and dates:

Where to watch the final episodes
Original U.S. broadcast
In the United States, the original premiere aired on Paramount Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers needed access to the channel through a traditional pay-TV provider or a live-TV package that carried Paramount Network.
Yellowstone also received a special CBS broadcast on November 10, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET, following Tracker. That presentation was subject to NFL scheduling overruns. It was an additional CBS airing—not a replacement for the Paramount Network premiere.
Current U.S. streaming and purchase options
At the time of research, Peacock’s official Yellowstone listing included all five seasons. U.S. viewers looking to stream the completed series can therefore watch all five seasons of Yellowstone there, subject to the service’s current catalog and subscription terms.

Paramount’s help information also identifies digital purchase outlets including Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu and other stores for Seasons 1–5. Store catalogs, pricing and regional availability can change, so viewers should confirm the current listing before buying.
For viewers who prefer a physical collection, availability should be checked for the Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 DVD and the Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 Blu-ray. Verify the exact format, seller and inventory before purchase; the existence or availability of a particular listing can vary by market.
International rollout
Paramount’s June announcement gave different international dates and platforms. The second part was scheduled for Paramount+ in Canada on November 10, 2024, followed by the United Kingdom on November 11. Latin America, Brazil and France were assigned later rollout dates rather than the same U.S. schedule.
Those international arrangements should not be used to infer that the U.S. premiere streamed on Paramount+. The U.S. broadcast debut was on Paramount Network, while current U.S. streaming availability is listed through Peacock.

What happened with Kevin Costner?

- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
That does not support more specific claims about unused footage, contractual disputes or John Dutton’s fate without separate sourcing. The careful takeaway is simply that Costner did not film new Part 2 scenes.
What does the date mean now?
Because the original announcement was made in 2024, November 10, 2024, is now a past premiere date—not an upcoming 2026 event. The six episodes have already completed their weekly run, with the Season 5 finale airing on December 15, 2024.
The clearest current summary is: Paramount Network announced on June 20, 2024, that the final six episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 would begin November 10, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. They subsequently aired through December 15, 2024, completing the original five-season series.
