Is Season 4 the last season of Yellowjackets?
Yes. Paramount describes Season 4 as the series’ final season. The season-four renewal was announced May 20, 2025. In that release, Chris McCarthy, then identified as Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President of SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios, said: “Yellowjackets has become a cultural juggernaut; with season three shattering all previous records, we are thrilled to announce its renewal for a season four on Paramount+.” The quote gives no audience figures.

What is Season 4 about?
The official Season 4 guide says the wilderness timeline moves closer to the survivors’ rescue. That is the confirmed story direction available so far; it does not say exactly when rescue happens or how the season’s mysteries and individual characters’ stories conclude.
The series follows a talented high-school girls’ soccer team whose plane crashes in a remote northern wilderness. Paramount describes it as a survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, following the team’s descent into savage clans as well as the lives the survivors try to rebuild nearly 25 years later.
No official episode-by-episode synopsis is available in the material cited here, so specific predictions about the rescue, the ending or unresolved mysteries should not be treated as confirmed plot details.
