Spoilers for Yellowjackets Season 3, Episode 10, “Full Circle.” The finale reveals that Mari is the girl who falls into the pit in the series’ opening mystery. Its last radio exchange offers hope of contact—and a possible route to rescue—but does not confirm that the team has been found.
What happens in “Full Circle”?
The tenth episode is the Season 3 finale. Paramount+ lists its synopsis as: “Things turn frigid as new alliances get built and spilled.” The short description points to the episode’s cold and shifting loyalties; the finale’s most consequential revelations are the pit-girl reveal and Natalie’s radio contact.

Paramount+ lists “Full Circle” as the season’s tenth episode and finale, dated April 4, 2025. Paramount+’s Season 3 episode guide identifies the episode’s place in the season, while its official Yellowjackets listing carries the brief synopsis.
Who is pit girl?
The girl from the pilot’s pit sequence is Mari. The finale resolves the long-running mystery by showing how she is selected and killed. TIME reports that a card draw chooses Mari, and Shauna sets the hunt in motion. Mari flees, loses her bright clothing, and falls into the pit, where sharpened stakes kill her. The survivors’ feast afterward echoes the image that opened the series. TIME’s account of the finale describes the reveal and its connection to the pilot.

How does the finale connect to the pilot?
The pit-girl scene was a flash-forward whose victim had remained unidentified. “Full Circle” names her as Mari and supplies the events leading to the fatal fall. The feast that follows links the finale’s hunt back to the series’ opening image, turning the pilot’s disturbing glimpse into a specific moment in the survivors’ story.

Natalie escapes with the repaired satellite phone and reaches someone over the radio. A voice answers, “Yes, I can hear you.” That exchange establishes that she has made contact with a voice on the other end; it does not identify the speaker or show that rescue has arrived. The finale leaves what happens next unresolved.
