Kirishima discusses Yoshino’s constant anger with a lover, framing it as a relationship problem he might be able to solve. Later, Yoshino catches him watching her while she sleeps. Kirishima says he wants to become worthy of Yoshino’s love. The vow is not a straightforward romantic confession. His desire to be loved comes across as unsettling and potentially manipulative, rather than as a clear sign that he respects her boundaries.
