The available sources support a few dated career details, including Mason Ryan’s later WWE and Cirque du Soleil work, but do not establish what every Nexus member is doing in 2026.
What was the Nexus?
The Nexus was a WWE faction whose membership included Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Heath Slater and Daniel Bryan. A 2012 Inside Pulse article by Mike Gojira, titled “The Nexus – Where Are They Now?”, looked back at members’ circumstances after the group split. Its descriptions belong to that 2012 snapshot and should not be read as present-day updates. Read the 2012 retrospective.
What can be confirmed about former members?
Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Heath Slater and Daniel Bryan
The 2012 retrospective discusses these former members and reports on their circumstances at that time. That article alone does not verify their current careers or activities, so it cannot answer where they are now in 2026.
Mason Ryan
WWE’s profile says CM Punk recruited Ryan to the New Nexus. It also records that Ryan was last seen in WWE NXT in 2014 and later worked as Chief Archer in Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ. The profile does not establish what Ryan is doing as of October 2026. See WWE’s Mason Ryan profile.

Why a definitive “where are they now?” list is difficult
A dated retrospective can document what a person was doing when it was published, but that is not proof of their current work. The available records here do not cover every original or later Nexus member, and they do not provide recent confirmation for the full group. A reliable current update would require recent official biographies, credits or direct interviews for each person.
