Why the Raw after WrestleMania mattered
WrestleMania 41 took place in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20, 2025. The first Raw afterward was positioned to establish the next phase of several major storylines rather than simply continue a normal weekly schedule.
John Cena entered the episode after defeating Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Jey Uso had defeated Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, while IYO SKY had won the Women’s World Championship. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria had also captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Those results left several obvious questions for Raw: how Cena would respond to becoming champion, what Gunther would do after losing his title, whether Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez would receive a tag-team championship rematch, and how the rivalries involving Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY would develop.

For viewers checking the service now, WWE’s current viewing guidance continues to list Netflix as the home of Raw in the United States. International availability is territory-specific. WWE says Raw is available live on Netflix in most regions, but identifies exceptions and different arrangements for places including Germany and Austria, sub-Saharan Africa and Japan. That is current distribution guidance and should not be confused with a guarantee that every country used the same platform for the April 21, 2025 broadcast.
Viewers outside the United States should therefore check the Netflix listing or WWE’s regional viewing information for their territory. A local start time may also differ from the U.S. time shown above.
