The confirmed platform time was 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time on April 3, 2025. The Eastern time is a direct conversion for that date, when the United States was observing daylight time; it was not a separately announced Crunchyroll time. [c001]
Why do some listings say April 4 in Japan?
Japan’s television announcement gave the premiere slot as 12:26 a.m. JST on Thursday, April 3. Because that time is 26 minutes after midnight, the broadcast technically occurred on Friday, April 4, 2025, by the ordinary calendar.
Japanese television schedules commonly identify late-night programs by the evening on which the programming block began. That is why official and media listings can refer to the broadcast as the “April 3” premiere even though the episode aired after midnight on April 4 in Japan.
For comparison, 12:26 a.m. JST corresponded to 11:26 a.m. EDT and 8:26 a.m. PDT on April 3 in the United States. That Japanese broadcast time should not be confused with Crunchyroll’s later international simulcast release at 10:30 a.m. PDT. [c002]

Where to watch WIND BREAKER Season 2
Crunchyroll was the confirmed international streaming home for the subtitled season. The announced territories included North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Indian subcontinent. Availability can still vary by country because streaming rights are territory-specific.
The English dub was not released at the same time as the subtitles. Crunchyroll’s Spring 2025 information listed the dub for Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, while a later announcement confirmed that the Season 2 English dub began on April 17, 2025—two weeks after the subtitled premiere. The cited announcement confirms the date but does not establish a separate universal dub release time for every territory. [c005][c006]
Japanese streaming schedule
In Japan, ABEMA was announced as a same-time, same-day advance streaming service beginning April 3 at 12:26 a.m. JST. Other services—including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, U-NEXT, d Anime Store, Hulu, and TVer—were listed for sequential availability beginning April 7 at noon.
That Japanese platform schedule should not be treated as a United States streaming schedule. For international viewers, the cited announcements identify Crunchyroll as the relevant confirmed platform. [c002]

Is WIND BREAKER Season 2 finished?
Yes. Season 2 has 12 episodes and completed its original weekly broadcast in June 2025. The official complete Blu-ray listing describes a three-disc set containing all 12 episodes, along with textless opening and ending sequences, a booklet, and Nirei’s secret notepad. [c007]
The final episode’s international release was reported for June 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. PT on Crunchyroll. The Japanese late-night broadcast concluded after the Thursday, June 19 slot, meaning it fell on June 20 by the strict Japanese calendar. [c008][c007]
Consequently, a search result claiming that Season 2 is still waiting for a premiere—or that a new Season 2 episode is scheduled for 2026—is outdated. A future season would be a separate production and should not be confused with the completed 12-episode second season.
