PBS MASTERPIECE has announced that All Creatures Great and Small will return for Seasons 7 and 8. Season 7 is currently scheduled to return to U.S. PBS on January 17, 2027, at 9/8c. The announcement confirms two more seasons, but PBS has not established that Season 8 will be the series finale.
What PBS has confirmed
PBS’s official series page says the drama will return for Seasons 7 and 8. That is the clearest answer for viewers wondering whether the story continues after Season 6: two additional seasons are announced.

The renewal announcement does not say that Season 8 will be the end of the series. It is best to treat the show’s longer-term future beyond those two seasons as unconfirmed.
When Season 7 is scheduled to return
PBS currently lists Season 7’s U.S. return for January 17, 2027, at 9/8c. The date also appears in PBS’s Season 7 preview. This is the announced schedule as of October 8, 2026; broadcast schedules can change, so check PBS’s listing closer to the date.

Where the story picks up after Season 6
Season 6 premiered on MASTERPIECE on PBS on January 11, 2026, and is set in 1945 as the war in Europe winds down, according to PBS’s 2026 lineup announcement. The Season 7 preview places the next season in 1946 and hints at changes at Skeldale House and in the characters’ relationships. Those are broad promotional teases, not a full episode-by-episode synopsis.
How to watch
PBS identifies pbs.org and the PBS app as viewing routes, and its lineup materials also reference PBS Passport and MASTERPIECE on Prime Video. Availability depends on the title, location, and time, so check the current local listing for the season you want. The cited PBS pages do not provide a complete territory-by-territory availability guide or establish pricing.
