Yes. Season 3 of My Life With the Walter Boys is already available on Netflix, and Netflix has renewed the series for a fourth season that is in production and slated for 2027.
Season 3 is streaming now
Netflix Tudum’s Season 3 article, published August 6, 2026, announced the premiere with the line “All eight new episodes of the beloved YA romance are now streaming on Netflix.” All eight episodes arrived at once, and Netflix identifies its service as the only place to watch the season.
Where Season 3 picks up
Season 2 ended with George Walter, the family patriarch played by Marc Blucas, rushed to hospital. Season 3 opens in the aftermath, and Netflix Tudum says Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez), Cole (Noah LaLonde), and Alex (Ashby Gentry) face new crises of their own. The official cast guide says George is set to make a full recovery.
New characters in Season 3
Netflix’s cast guide introduces three new characters:
#1 Best Overall
- Mac, a drag racer who hires Cole to work on a racing car.
- Eliot, an intern for Uncle Richard.
- Hannah, George’s sister and the mother of Isaac and Lee.
The guide is written as orientation rather than a plot summary, so it leaves most story turns for the episodes themselves.
Is there a Season 4?
Yes. Netflix’s Season 4 renewal announcement says the fourth installment is slated for 2027. Netflix Tudum’s Season 3 article describes the show as renewed and says Season 4 is now in production. Netflix gives the year only, so no exact premiere date has been published.

What the showrunner says about the season
In Netflix Tudum’s August 6, 2026 article, showrunner, creator, and executive producer Melanie Halsall describes the season this way: “A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up.”
How the show relates to the book
The series is adapted from Ali Novak’s novel of the same name. Netflix’s December 19, 2023 renewal announcement describes the origin this way: “The series is based on Ali Novak’s popular WattPad novel of the same name – which Novak wrote when she was only fifteen and has over 80 million reads. It has since been turned into a published book.” The 80 million figure is Netflix’s 2023 count, not a current one.

Adaptations do not always follow their source closely, and the official pages covered here do not offer a detailed comparison of the book and the show, so this article does not attempt one. Your choice depends on what you want:
- Watch the series if you want the current season, which is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
- Read the novel if you want the original story as Novak wrote it, before the show’s changes.
Viewing figures for Seasons 1 and 2
Netflix Tudum reports that Seasons 1 and 2 together spent 15 weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10 and accumulated “over 130 million views” from 2023 through the end of 2025. This is Netflix’s own aggregate figure, reported in 2025, and it has not been independently audited.

Over 130 million views: Netflix, 2025 (aggregate through the end of 2025, Seasons 1 and 2 combined).
