In an interview with Popverse published September 22, 2026, AdHoc co-founder, Dispatch creative director and executive producer Dennis Lenart described interest in a second season and said the studio was in a position to discuss it. He also made clear that interest alone is not enough: AdHoc wants the right setup and circumstances before committing to a project.
“So now we are in the position where at least there is interest, which is great. But also, we really want to make things that we believe in. So there, you know, you have to have the right setup and the right kind of circumstances and everything to make it worth doing as well. So we’re in a great spot now where it’s like we can have those conversations. Yeah.”

Has Dispatch Season 2 been greenlit or given a release date?
The cited September 2026 interview does not say that Season 2 has been greenlit, formally announced, or scheduled. Lenart provided no release date or production timeline. There is therefore no supported release window to report from these sources.

November 2025: AdHoc says it will consider a follow-up
On November 10, 2025, PC Gamer reported that AdHoc co-founder Pierre Shorette said the studio would “have to at least think about season two now.” PC Gamer placed the remark in the context of the game’s early sales, reporting that it had sold one million copies in ten days. That figure is PC Gamer’s report; the article is not itself a formal Season 2 announcement.
November 2025: another co-founder comments on more episodes
GamesRadar reported a similar comment from AdHoc co-founder and Dispatch co-director Nick Herman during an interview on the Friends Per Second podcast. The report described the game’s success as making the possibility of more episodes more realistic. Together, these 2025 remarks show that a continuation was worth discussing; the September 2026 interview still describes conversations and conditions rather than a confirmed production.

Could AdHoc’s other projects affect a second season?
In November 2025, GamesRadar reported that AdHoc was working on a Critical Role collaboration set in Exandria and The Wolf Among Us 2, a Telltale-published project. The September 2026 interview does not update the status of either project or establish that they would delay or prevent another season of Dispatch. Their effect, if any, is not stated in the cited coverage.
