The announcement does not give a release date or explicitly call the project “Season 2,” so when Chainsaw Man season 2 is coming out remains unknown.

When is Chainsaw Man season 2 coming out?
No premiere date or release window has been announced in the cited official materials. They also do not state an episode count, whether the project will be a series or another film, or where it will stream. Any specific date circulating without a later official announcement should be treated as speculation, not a confirmed schedule.

What comes after the Reze Arc movie?
The announced continuation is the Assassins Arc. Its official description says assassins target Denji’s heart, placing the story after the events covered by the Reze Arc film. The announcement does not provide further plot details in the materials cited here.
If you want to continue the story in print rather than wait for the anime, look for the manga continuation after the Reze Arc. The exact starting volume in the English edition is not established by the official materials cited here, so check the publisher’s edition and contents before choosing a volume.
