Kelsey Grammer believes the Frasier revival should have received another chance and more support—but his comments are not a Season 3 announcement. Paramount+ stopped moving forward with the series after two seasons, and CBS Studios said it would shop it to other platforms. The sources reviewed do not confirm a new buyer or a third-season order.
What did Kelsey Grammer say about the cancellation?
In a Times interview covered by Omni on July 11, 2026, Grammer said he believed the revival should not have been cancelled. Omni’s account says he felt the series had been caught between the cracks during changes at Paramount and that it should have received more marketing and support. Those are Grammer’s views on the decision, not evidence that a platform is preparing new episodes. Omni’s July 11, 2026 summary

Omni also reproduces a Swedish phrase attributed to Grammer, but it is not an exact English quotation. The comments are best described in paraphrase rather than presented as his original English wording.
Is the new Frasier cancelled, and could it return?
The revival is no longer moving forward on Paramount+. Variety reported on January 18, 2025, that the series would not continue there after two seasons and that CBS Studios planned to shop it to other platforms. Shopping a show means seeking another home; it does not mean a new service has agreed to carry it. Variety’s January 18, 2025 report
#1 Best Overall
The available sources establish no buyer, new platform, or Season 3 order. Grammer’s confidence that the show merited another chance does not change that status. A return remains possible only if another platform takes it on and commissions more episodes; no such decision is confirmed in the sources reviewed.
How many seasons and episodes are there?
Paramount Global Content lists the revival as a two-season comedy with 20 episodes. Its catalogue gives September 19, 2024, as the Season 2 premiere date. The series follows Frasier Crane after his return to Boston, with Grammer starring and serving as an executive producer. Paramount Global Content’s series catalogue
