Grace Kelley, the daughter of country singer Wynonna Judd, has faced arrests and criminal charges in several states. The cases reported publicly include a 2016 Tennessee methamphetamine case, multiple 2024 arrests, and a Virginia felony license charge that ended in a guilty plea in June 2026. An arrest is not proof of guilt: the record below distinguishes reported allegations from pleas and sentences, and identifies where details come from secondary reporting.

What was Grace Kelley arrested for?

There is no single arrest behind the question. Reports describe several cases between 2016 and 2025. They include drug-related proceedings in Tennessee, allegations in Alabama, traffic-related charges in Georgia, a Virginia case involving an alleged church-van theft, and a later Virginia charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. The latest located report says Kelley pleaded guilty to that felony license charge on June 18, 2026, and received a 15-month sentence.

Charges and arrest accounts are not the same as findings of guilt. Where a reported outcome comes from a secondary summary rather than an independently reviewed court record, that distinction matters.

Grace Kelley’s reported legal-case timeline

2016–2018: Tennessee methamphetamine case

LegalClarity’s July 2026 retrospective says Kelley was arrested in Tennessee in 2016 in a methamphetamine case, pleaded guilty in 2017, and was sentenced in 2018 after leaving a court-mandated recovery program. The account is a secondary legal summary; the Tennessee docket was not available for independent confirmation. It does not establish anything about Kelley’s current health or recovery. April 2024: arrest in Millbrook, Alabama

USA TODAY reported that Kelley was arrested in Millbrook on April 5, 2024, on charges including indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations. The outlet quoted a municipal court representative describing alleged resistance and noncooperation during the encounter. The representative did not explain the indecent-exposure allegation, and that allegation should not be treated as an established fact. USA TODAY’s report, published via Yahoo News.

LegalClarity’s later summary says a prostitution-solicitation charge was dismissed, the indecent-exposure count was reduced to public lewdness, and the obstruction case resulted in a 60-day jail sentence. Those disposition details are secondary-source reporting here, not independently verified against Alabama court records. LegalClarity’s account.

August 2024: Georgia traffic-related charges

LegalClarity reports that Kelley was arrested in Georgia in August 2024 on charges related to fleeing or attempting to elude, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and motorcycle equipment. The available reporting does not establish a verified disposition for that case, so no outcome should be inferred from the arrest alone. LegalClarity’s retrospective.

October–December 2024: Virginia case involving an alleged church-van theft

LegalClarity says Kelley was arrested in Virginia in connection with an alleged church-van theft and reached a plea agreement in December 2024 that reduced the case to three counts. The summary reports pleas to possession of drug paraphernalia, drugged driving, and petty larceny, followed by three months of active jail time and 16 months suspended. These details remain secondary-source summaries rather than independently confirmed Albemarle County court records. LegalClarity’s case chronology.

October 2025–June 2026: felony suspended-license case

Us Weekly reported, citing court documents, that Kelley was arrested in October 2025 and pleaded guilty on June 18, 2026, to a felony charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. The report says she received a 15-month sentence at Rockingham County Jail. Us Weekly’s report.

What is known about her latest reported status?

Us Weekly’s August 26, 2026 report said a judge denied a temporary furlough request connected with a birth expected around August 16. It also reported that local officials were to escort Kelley to a hospital for a scheduled C-section. The available reporting does not establish whether the birth occurred or Kelley’s custody status after that report, so neither should be assumed.

How to read the reports accurately

  • An arrest means a person was taken into custody; by itself, it does not establish guilt.
  • A charge is an accusation brought through the legal process. Allegations in an arrest report are not judicial findings.
  • A plea or sentence is a later case development. Here, several older case outcomes are described by a secondary retrospective and should be attributed to that source unless confirmed through court records.
  • A reported status is time-bound. The August 2026 account is not a live jail or court-status check.
