Was the facelift money a loan or a gift?

How did the dispute reach a settlement?
The March 2024 lawsuit
Janssen sought $75,000 in the suit. That was the amount he claimed, not a confirmed final settlement figure.
The Season 18 reunion account
Bravo reported that Beador said at the reunion Janssen had reduced his requested amount to $70,000 and that she had agreed to pay it, while she sought a mutual non-disparagement agreement. The $70,000 figure is the amount she said had been discussed; it should not be mistaken for a publicly confirmed final settlement amount.

Bravo reported that the parties settled the case on November 19, 2024. Beador’s lawyer, Dave Beitchman, said, “I have no doubt in my mind that Shannon would prevail in this matter.” That was his assessment on her behalf, not a court ruling on the allegations.
Was this the same case as Beador’s 2023 DUI matter?
No. Janssen’s lawsuit was a civil dispute over money. Separately, Entertainment Tonight reported in October 2023 that Beador faced misdemeanor charges related to a DUI and hit-and-run incident. Those criminal charges were a different matter and are not the basis of Janssen’s lawsuit.
