Pamela Anderson said she felt “weird” and uncomfortable seeing Seth Rogen nearby at the January 11, 2026, Golden Globes. In an interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, she linked her reaction to Rogen’s role in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, which dramatized events from her life without consulting her, according to her account.
What Pamela Anderson said about seeing Seth Rogen
Anderson attended the 2026 Golden Globes as a presenter. Speaking afterward to Andy Cohen on Radio Andy, she said Rogen was in the audience nearby and that seeing him made her feel uncomfortable. “I felt a little bit weird about it,” she said, as quoted by TheWrap.
She said she did not approach him. Us Weekly reported that she imagined telling him how she felt, but did not do so. TheWrap reported that she left after presenting and went to bed; Us Weekly separately reported that she left the party early.
Why the encounter brought up Pam & Tommy
Anderson’s explanation was about the Hulu limited series Pam & Tommy, which dramatizes the theft and release of a sex tape involving Anderson and Tommy Lee. Rogen was an executive producer and played Rand Gauthier, the man who stole the tape, according to TheWrap. The series was based on Amanda Chicago Lewis’s 2014 Rolling Stone article, “Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape.”
#1 Best Overall
Anderson said Rogen “did that [show] on me without talking to me.” She questioned how anyone could make a television series from another person’s difficult experiences while that person is still alive, saying, “I’m a living, breathing human being over here. Hello!” TheWrap and Us Weekly describe the series as made without her consent; that characterization reflects Anderson’s account and the reporting, not a judicial finding about consent or production obligations.
She has previously said she did not want to watch the series and criticized it in her Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story, TheWrap reported. Her remarks at the Globes were consistent with her objection to having painful parts of her life dramatized without her involvement.
What Anderson said she hoped Rogen would do
Anderson said she hoped Rogen might contact her and apologize: “Maybe [Seth will] reach out to me and apologize. Not that that matters,” according to Us Weekly. She also said the series made her feel that her “darkest, deepest secrets or your tragedies in your life shouldn’t be fair game for [a] TV series.” These are her expressed feelings and expectations, not a report that Rogen contacted her or responded at the ceremony.

Rogen attended in connection with The Studio. TheWrap reported that he won two awards that night: Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. The awards were separate from Anderson’s reported reaction to seeing him.
