Hatzi reportedly answered the speculation directly: “no hahah not pregnant!” The episode dates to the start of 2024; it is not a current announcement.
What prompted the pregnancy rumours?
In a report published on 3 January 2024, PerthNow said Hatzi had shared a photo of herself with Kyrgios on New Year’s Eve. Its reported caption wished followers an incredible 2024 filled with “love, happiness, success & good health.”
The pose, rather than any pregnancy announcement, set off the comments: Kyrgios had a hand on Hatzi’s belly. PerthNow reproduced one commenter’s reaction as, “The way he’s holding your stomach I thought this was an announcement post 😂,” and another asking, “Are you trying to tell us something”. These are comments as reported by the outlet, not independently verified records of the original Instagram thread.
What did Costeen Hatzi say?
PerthNow reported that Hatzi replied: “no hahah not pregnant!” Tennis365 also covered the denial in a 5 January 2024 report, describing the same photo and ensuing speculation: Tennis365’s report.

- Wilson Federer Adult Recreational Tennis Racket - Grip Size 3 - 4 3/8", Red/White/Black
- AirLite Alloy construction creates lightweight frame with power and durability
- Power Strings feature longer mainstrings for greater power
- Stop Shock Pads reduce racket vibrations for improved feel
- Lightweight, midplus head provides greater degree of racket maneuverability with enlarged sweet spot
The reports support a straightforward conclusion: the pregnancy claim was speculation based on the photo, and Hatzi reportedly denied it. The photo was not confirmation of a pregnancy.
Why the story needs a date
This was a brief social-media rumour from New Year’s Eve 2023–24, covered in January 2024. It should not be presented as breaking or current pregnancy news. PerthNow reported in January 2026 that Hatzi was attending the Australian Open following her split from Kyrgios: PerthNow’s 2026 report. That later context also means the 2024 report’s description of Hatzi as Kyrgios’s girlfriend should not be treated as their current relationship status.

What Kyrgios’s comments about family do—and don’t—show
Tennis365 noted that Kyrgios had previously told Piers Morgan he hoped to have a large family in the future. That statement was background, not evidence that Hatzi was pregnant, and it does not change the reported denial.
