Was ending Very Cavallari the same decision?
No. Cavallari’s choice to stop filming Very Cavallari was related to the divorce but was a separate decision. In 2020, she said she felt anxiety about discussing the split on camera and did not want her children to see the divorce exposed on television. As she put it, “I wasn’t going to expose my divorce on camera and have my kids see that one day. So, I decided to walk away from it.” Us Weekly

What did Cavallari say about their relationship later?
In the 2024 account, Cavallari said that after four and a half years, she and Cutler were in the best place they had been. She recalled sitting together at one of their children’s basketball games. Those comments describe how she characterized their relationship at that time; they should not be read as a claim about their current status.
PEOPLE’s October 22, 2024 report noted that the podcast episode had been recorded before a public incident involving Cutler the previous week. That timing explains the report’s context, but it is not evidence about why the marriage ended.
