What Kody meant by “left out”
In the special, Kody said he was sad to miss what he called the “Brown family mosh pit”: his children dancing together at the wedding. Entertainment Tonight reproduced his remarks as: “I’m sad that I’m having to miss the Brown family mosh pit,” and “Now I feel left out because the Brown family mosh pit is so much fun.”

The distinction matters: the recap says Kody was not invited to the wedding. His quoted feeling of being left out referred specifically to the dancing, not to an invitation he expected or to being excluded from the ceremony after arriving.

He also spoke positively about Christine’s search for a partner, saying she “had a goal in mind and hopes of finding a soulmate experience and she put a lot of emotional energy into that.” He added: “And I think she did something magical that drew that to her. I think they may be that match made in heaven, and I hope they have a wonderful day.”

Entertainment Tonight’s recap says Christine and Kody split in 2021 and that Christine married David in October. It describes Christine as the mother of six of Kody’s 18 children and says the majority of Kody’s children with his former wives attended the wedding. The recap does not give a precise count of attendees.
