Gisele Bündchen reportedly bought a 7.5-acre equestrian property in Southwest Ranches, Florida, for $9.1 million in 2023. Coverage connected the purchase to her daughter’s love of horses and the chance to ride in privacy, but it does not establish that this was Bündchen’s sole reason.
Why did Gisele Bündchen buy a horse farm?
A September 2023 Boston Globe summary of a People interview said Bündchen’s daughter’s enthusiasm for horses led her to buy a horse farm where she could ride in privacy. The Globe quoted Bündchen describing her daughter’s ambition: “She’s like, ‘Mom, I’m going to be a professional horseback rider.’ That’s all she wants to do,” she said of her daughter. The Boston Globe’s account attributes that explanation to the interview; it does not verify it as the only motive for the purchase.
How much did Bündchen pay, and what did the property include?
Local 10 reported that the 7.5-acre Southwest Ranches property sold for $9.1 million in 2023, citing public records. The outlet also quoted listing agent Chad Bishop saying Bündchen planned to keep horses, chickens, and other farm animals there. Local 10’s report is the source for the price, acreage, and the agent’s comments.
Architectural Digest described an equestrian rink and 10 horse stalls; Realtor.com also listed those features. These details describe the property as reported in 2023, not a verified account of its present condition or use.
