Gigi Dolin’s absence from WWE followed her 2025 release from the company. In a September 2025 interview, she spoke as Priscilla Kelly and said the release surprised her. She recalled thinking a group she had formed with Shotzi and Tatum Paxley might move to WWE’s main roster after WrestleMania. That is Kelly’s account of the timing—not a confirmed explanation from WWE for why it released her.
What happened to Gigi Dolin?
Dolin was released from WWE in 2025. The cited sources do not describe her absence as an injury hiatus; they connect it to her departure from the company. WWE’s official profile lists her NXT career highlight as Women’s Tag Team Champion and describes her run with Toxic Attraction and Jacy Jayne. WWE’s profile of Gigi Dolin
What was Dolin doing shortly before her release?
WWE announced that Dolin and Tatum Paxley would challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the April 22, 2025 NXT broadcast. They had earned the opportunity by winning the Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match at Stand & Deliver. WWE’s announcement of the title match
Why did the timing surprise her?
In an interview published September 4, 2025, Kelly said she had not expected the release and felt she was at a personal high point in NXT. She recalled that her group with Shotzi and Paxley had been told it might go to the main roster after WrestleMania. Kelly described the release as “a complete shock.” PWMania’s interview coverage
