The company said that delivery violated its service agreement. Apple Music and iTunes briefly removed the album in February 2024, but reports said it soon returned through Label Engine. That album-level dispute was separate from Spotify’s removal of one track, “Good (Don’t Die),” after a complaint from Donna Summer’s estate.
Why did FUGA seek to remove Vultures 1?
FUGA, a digital music distributor, said it had been offered the chance to release the album in late 2023 and declined. In a statement reported by Billboard, the company said a long-standing client delivered the album on February 9, 2024, through FUGA’s automated processes. FUGA characterized that delivery as a violation of its service agreement and said it was working with streaming partners and the client to remove the album from its systems.

That is FUGA’s account of the dispute, not an independently established legal finding. The reports do not include the agreement itself or a ruling about whether its terms were breached. FUGA’s statement explains its stated reason for seeking removal; it does not establish that every streaming service took the album down.
What happened to the album on Apple Music and iTunes?
Billboard reported that Apple Music and iTunes removed Vultures 1 on February 15, 2024. At the time of that report, the album remained available on other services, including Spotify and Amazon Music. Those details describe the situation reported then, not its present-day availability.

On February 16, Euronews reported that the album had reappeared on Apple Music and iTunes through Label Engine. Stereogum also reported its return through Label Engine. These accounts establish a reported relisting, but do not disclose the distribution contract or explain its terms.
Was “Good (Don’t Die)” removed for the same reason?
No. Reports linked Spotify’s removal of “Good (Don’t Die)” to a complaint from Donna Summer’s estate over the track’s interpolation of “I Feel Love.” That was a track-specific rights complaint. FUGA’s stated reason for seeking to remove Vultures 1 was its claim that a client had delivered the album in violation of a service agreement. The two events involved different actors, scopes and stated grounds; they should not be treated as one takedown.
