OneStream Live’s regular pre-recorded stream workflow repeats a video only for the number of loops you configure, up to 60. If playback stops after those repeats, it may have completed the selected count. For round-the-clock playback, OneStream documents a separate YouTube-only 24/7 workflow, which requires an Enterprise plan and can be scheduled for up to 30 days. These documented limits do not identify why any particular broadcast stopped; its workflow, settings, duration and status details matter.
Check which OneStream workflow you scheduled
Regular pre-recorded stream
OneStream’s standard pre-recorded workflow lets you set how many times the video repeats during a single broadcast. Its Help Center says the loop control allows up to 60 repeats; it describes repeated playback, not infinite playback. Open the video selection or stream setup screen and check the configured loop count. If the broadcast completed that number of repeats, it may have ended as configured. OneStream Live’s loop instructions were updated September 21, 2026.
OneStream’s 24/7 workflow
If you need ongoing playback rather than a finite set of repeats, OneStream documents a separate 24/7 streaming option for YouTube. It requires an Enterprise plan, asks you to set a duration in days, and caps a scheduled stream at 30 days. That is a different workflow from enabling loops in a standard pre-recorded broadcast. See OneStream’s 24/7 YouTube instructions for its current setup requirements.
Separate source-video looping from YouTube DVR
Looping determines how OneStream repeats the source video. YouTube DVR is a viewer playback feature: it can let viewers pause and rewind a live stream, but it does not change OneStream’s repeat count. YouTube says DVR capabilities may be limited or unavailable for live streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers cannot seek backward, check the broadcast’s DVR availability and settings rather than treating that symptom as proof that OneStream stopped looping. YouTube Help explains DVR on live streams.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If the stream stopped before the intended repeats
The documented limits alone cannot establish the cause of an individual interruption. Before changing settings or scheduling again, collect the details that distinguish a completed loop from an unexpected stop:
- Which OneStream workflow was used: a regular pre-recorded stream or the 24/7 YouTube option?
- What loop count was selected, and how many repeats appeared to complete?
- What plan was active, and what scheduled duration was set?
- Which YouTube event or destination was selected?
- What status did OneStream show, and did OneStream or YouTube display an error?
Use those details to narrow down whether the configured repeat count or scheduled duration was reached. If the stream ended earlier than expected, the reviewed OneStream and YouTube instructions do not establish a universal cause; the status and error details for that broadcast are needed. Do not assume a platform outage, account restriction or defect without incident-specific evidence.
