What criticism did she actually face?
After Palvin’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition debut, British Vogue reported that she received comments calling her “fat” and published her response: “Well, I am not as skinny as I was when I was 18, but I don’t consider myself fat!” The episode is evidence of body-focused criticism and of Palvin speaking back to it. That distinction matters because Victoria’s Secret faced criticism as a brand, while models also dealt with comments online. What can—and can’t—be concluded
