How tall is Robert Bobroczkyi?
The best-supported commonly reported figure is 7 feet 7 inches, or about 2.31 meters. Both Rochester Christian University and Space give that height. It is a reported figure, not a medical or independently verified measurement.
There is a discrepancy in other accounts: Sayagues estimated “seven-foot-eight or something,” while Univision gives 2.20 meters. Sayagues’s wording is explicitly approximate, and 2.20 meters is shorter than 7 feet 7 inches. The available reporting therefore supports using 7 feet 7 inches with that qualification rather than treating the number as settled.

- This truly terrifying sci-fi horror-thriller takes the legendary ?Alien? franchise back to its iconic roots. While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young colonizers come face-to-face with the deadliest life form in the universe. Warning: Some flashing-lights scenes in this film may affect photosensitive viewers.
Was the Offspring played by a real performer or created with CGI?
The production used Bobroczkyi in costume and combined his physical performance with creature effects. Visual-effects supervisor Shane Mahan told Space that Bobroczkyi was selected in part for his height and long limbs, then worked with motion and acting coaches. Space describes the finished character as using prosthetic enhancements, minor animatronics, and some CGI—not as an entirely practical or entirely computer-generated creation.
How did Bobroczkyi prepare for the role?
Bobroczkyi told Rochester Christian University that he spent about eight months preparing. During the first six months, theatre chair and artistic director Robert Arbaugh worked with him on acting and performing through movement; he then spent 10 weeks with a specialist in physical-movement performances.

The university profile says applying makeup and prosthetics took five to six hours, with about two hours needed to remove them. Those demands made movement and performance preparation especially relevant to the role.

The Offspring is a fictional human-alien hybrid. Co-writer Sayagues connects its origin to Weyland-Yutani’s compound based on black goo and the company’s attempt to transfer xenomorph traits into human DNA. That is the character’s in-film origin, not an explanation of Bobroczkyi’s real-life casting or height.
