How did the teams come together?
The match’s alliances grew out of WWE’s ongoing rivalries. Asuka and Kairi Sane turned on IYO SKY over her friendship with Rhea Ripley. Nia Jax and Lash Legend interfered in a title match involving Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss; Flair then came to Bliss’s aid, bringing Ripley and SKY into the alliance.
After AJ Lee reappeared on Raw and helped cost Lynch the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Lee and Lynch agreed to compete at WarGames. Their additions completed the opposing five-person teams, according to WWE’s 2025 preview.

Has WWE announced the 2026 women’s WarGames lineup?
No. As of October 8, 2026, WWE’s official pages announce Survivor Series: WarGames for Saturday, November 28, at Daikin Park in Houston, but do not identify a women’s WarGames match or its participants. The WWE corporate announcement and the event page confirm event details, not a women’s lineup. Treat any proposed 2026 teams as speculation unless WWE announces them.
Where will the 2026 event stream in the United States?
WWE’s 2026 event page names the ESPN App as the U.S. stream. That information is specific to the United States; the page does not establish viewing availability in other regions.
