Tish Cyrus is married to actor Dominic Purcell. The couple wed in Malibu, California, in August 2023, in a small ceremony beside the pool at Miley Cyrus’s home. Vogue and the Los Angeles Times both report the wedding. Those reports describe a past event, so they do not confirm the state of the marriage as of October 2026.
Who is Dominic Purcell?
Purcell is an actor known for two television roles. The Los Angeles Times identifies him as the actor who played Lincoln Burrows on Prison Break, and as Mick Rory, also called Heat Wave, on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Those two parts are the reference points most viewers will recognise. This profile does not attempt a full filmography.
How the relationship developed
Cyrus has said the couple first connected through social media. Vogue quotes her: “I slid into Dom’s DMs and the rest is history.” The Independent reports that the two began talking online in 2022 and made their relationship public in November of that year. Vogue reports they became engaged over Thanksgiving 2022.

What Cyrus said about the marriage in 2024
In March 2024, Cyrus discussed on the podcast Sorry We’re Stoned that she and Purcell handle conflict differently, as The Independent reported. She said she was working on taking his opinions less personally and on having conversations instead. Her words, as quoted by The Independent: “But you know what? This is where I’ve grown, is like, I just feel like instead now of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations.”
These are personal comments from a specific month, not a description of the marriage today.

What the reporting does not establish
The available reporting does not describe any change in the marriage after March 2024. Family-related claims that circulate online, including those about Purcell’s past or about relatives, are not covered here because no attributable report confirms them. For the couple’s current situation, only statements made by the couple or their representatives in later reporting would count, and none is part of the material cited above.
