Tinsley Mortimer is married to Robert Bovard, a Georgia businessman. Bravo reports that they married on November 11, 2023, in Palm Beach, Florida.
Who is Robert Bovard?
Bravo identifies Bovard as Mortimer’s husband and describes him as a Georgia businessman. The outlet has reported that he is president and owner of Iron and Steel Works Inc., while another Bravo story names the company Augusta Iron & Steel Works, Inc. Those reports differ on the company name, so the business title and entity are best understood as details attributed to that coverage, not independently confirmed here. Bravo’s profile and its feature on Bovard provide the reported background.
How did Tinsley Mortimer and Robert Bovard meet?
According to Bravo’s April 2025 account, the two first crossed paths at a 2021 wedding for Mortimer’s cousin, Robert Mercer. They did not speak there; the following night, they met again when a group gathered at a restaurant to watch a baseball game. Bravo attributes the wedding setting to Town & Country and the later conversation to The New York Times. Bovard recalled, as quoted by Bravo, “It was probably easy for me to talk to her because I didn’t expect she’d have any interest in a guy from a small town in Georgia.” Bravo’s account of their relationship recounts the meeting.
When did they marry?
Bravo reports that Mortimer and Bovard married on November 11, 2023, in Palm Beach, Florida. Mortimer described the day to Town & Country, in a quote reproduced by Bravo, as “truly perfect in every way.” The same Bravo coverage says they dated while traveling across the country, Mortimer moved to Augusta in 2022, and Bovard proposed around Christmas 2022.

Is Tinsley Mortimer a stepmother?
Yes. Bravo reports that Bovard has three children from a previous marriage, and Mortimer has publicly described herself as their stepmother. In an Instagram caption from January 2024 quoted by Bravo, she wrote, “Now that I’m a stepmom of three my mornings are too busy to work out!” She also said a nine-year-old stepson filmed her workout while the twins were six; those ages refer to the 2024 post, not the children’s current ages. Bravo quoted Mortimer’s post about her stepfamily.
Where do they live now?
A Bravo profile published September 12, 2026, says Mortimer lives in Augusta, Georgia, with Bovard and his children. It also reports that she has largely stepped back from public life and social media since leaving The Real Housewives of New York City. This describes Bravo’s latest reported account, rather than independent real-time confirmation. Read Bravo’s September 2026 profile.
