That is a result from one publisher’s fan-vote survey—not an objective or universal verdict.
Who ranked first in the 2026 poll?
Nubia Magazine’s 2026 poll names Kim Taehyung, also known as V, as its winner. Xiao Zhan placed second and Jeon Jungkook third. The magazine says its closed poll included 123 nominees and recorded 38,225,411 votes; it says placements were determined by recorded vote totals. These are figures reported by the publisher, not independently audited totals.

Why do “most handsome” rankings have different winners?
Rankings use different candidate pools and methods, so they answer different questions. A fan poll records how its voters chose; a facial-measurement assessment reports a score generated by its own criteria. Neither result establishes a universal standard of attractiveness.
Fan-vote polls
Nubia Magazine’s 2026 survey places Kim Taehyung first. Other polls have produced different winners. KingChoice’s 2025 poll, which ran from December 1 through December 31 and allowed downvotes, named Xiao Zhan first; its page reported 617,156 total votes. Shining Awards’ 2025 poll had 50 nominees and reported Kim Taehyung in first place, with 5,355,328 votes across a stated 350-day voting period.

Nubia Magazine’s 2025 page reported more than 30 million votes from fans in 171 countries and separately described Taehyung as receiving over 10.7 million votes. Those are the publisher’s claims for that year, not audited totals. The 2025 results and methods should not be conflated with Nubia’s separate 2026 poll.

Facial-measurement assessments
The Economic Times reported that a 2024 assessment by facial cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva placed Aaron Taylor-Johnson first with a score of 93.04%. That percentage belongs to the reported assessment; it is not a vote total or a universal beauty score, and it cannot be directly compared with fan-poll results.

- Method: Look for voting rules, scoring criteria, and whether voters could downvote.
