The title’s word “fiancé” is outdated: Sweeney confirmed in a May 2025 interview that she was single and that the relationship had ended, so “ex-fiancé” is the accurate description today. Public information about Davino is limited, and most of what is known comes from Sweeney’s own interviews.

Seven facts about Jonathan Davino
1. He is a Chicago businessman
Sweeney’s own description, given in a 2023 Glamour UK interview, is that Davino is “a business guy” from Chicago. No more specific job title has been confirmed by a reliable source, so treat any narrower label you see elsewhere with caution.
2. Public reporting dates the relationship to 2018
ELLE reports that the two were first linked in 2018 and that their engagement was reported in 2022. Those dates mark when the relationship became public, not when it began privately.

3. They were engaged but are no longer together
In a May 31, 2025 interview with The Times, as reported by ELLE, Sweeney confirmed the end of the relationship. Asked whether she was single, she answered “Yes.” She also said: “I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it.” Neither interview explains the reasons for the split, and no reliable source has established them.
4. Sweeney rejected the restaurateur and pizza-heir story
Widely repeated claims described Davino as a restaurateur or the heir to a pizza company. Sweeney disputed both. In comments that Cosmopolitan reproduced from Glamour UK, she said: “He’s not a restaurateur,” and “He’s also not the heir of a pizza company. He’s a business guy. He’s from Chicago.”
