How did Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel meet?
Mitchell said in WIRED’s Autocomplete Interview that she and Babel had known each other since she was about 17 or 18 and living in Toronto. That describes how long they had known one another, not how long they had been a couple. ELLE reported that they were first romantically linked in January 2017, when Babel was working as an Entertainment Tonight Canada reporter.
