PerthNow used the phrase in a profile published on 20 November 2013; IMCAS later repeated it as a description used by the media. The available sources document how Jamil was presented at the time, but do not establish his current practice locations or registration status.
Where the “King of Botox” label came from
PerthNow’s 20 November 2013 profile by Linda Parri called Jamil Perth’s “King of Botox.” IMCAS’s professional biography also says the media referred to him by that name. Neither source presents it as a specialty, qualification or official distinction, so it is best understood as a media label rather than a measure of clinical standing.
The 2013 PerthNow feature described Jamil as a cosmetic surgeon and reported clinics in West Perth, East Perth and Bankwest Tower. Those are historical details from the article, not confirmation that he practises at those locations today. Read the PerthNow profile.
How Jamil described his approach
In the PerthNow profile, Jamil said he aimed for results that were “subtle yet glamorous” and that a patient’s personality and identity should be preserved. The article also quoted him saying, “Cosmetic surgery equals romance,” and describing the trust he sought to build with clients. These are his reported views and self-description; they do not independently demonstrate patient outcomes or establish how he practises now.

IMCAS describes Jamil as an Australian facial aesthetic physician and lists injectables, facial surgery, peels and lasers among his professional interests. That biography places Botox within a wider set of aesthetic interests, but it is a professional profile, not an independent assessment of his qualifications, results or current clinical work.
