They married on June 1, 2024, at Murdoch’s vineyard estate in Bel Air, California, according to the Associated Press. The wedding was his fifth marriage.
Who is Elena Zhukova?
News reports describe Zhukova as a Russian-born retired molecular biologist. The Associated Press uses that description, while The Guardian calls her a retired biologist. Those reports do not establish a detailed account of her education, research specialties, institutions, or scientific publications, so claims about those parts of her career should be treated cautiously.
When did Murdoch and Zhukova marry?
The Associated Press reported that the couple announced their engagement in March 2024 and married on June 1 that year. The ceremony took place at Murdoch’s vineyard estate in Bel Air, California. The Associated Press and ITV News described it as Murdoch’s fifth marriage.
How did they meet?
The Guardian reported that Murdoch met Zhukova through his third wife, Wendi Deng. This is reported background rather than a detail confirmed in a direct account from either Murdoch or Zhukova.

What to know about Murdoch’s previous marriages
The wedding coverage offers a few reference points rather than a full marriage-by-marriage biography: the Associated Press identifies Jerry Hall as Murdoch’s previous wife; ITV News names his first wife, Patricia Booker, and second wife, Anna Torv; and The Guardian identifies Wendi Deng as a former wife. The Guardian’s 2024 report gave Murdoch’s age as 93 and Zhukova’s as 67; those figures refer to the time of that report, not their ages today.
