What did Cyrus say about Song in later years?
His 2018 song
In February 2018, Cyrus released a song titled “Brenda.” E! News reported that he said he wrote it after their breakup. He also said, “Her and I have both moved on and I’m extremely happy for her.” Those comments show how Cyrus described the song and his feelings at the time; they do not establish further details about the relationship.
His 2025 allegations
In June 2025, Cyrus made social-media allegations about Song involving money, pregnancies, and illness. TMZ noted that he did not provide evidence supporting the claims in the material it reviewed. Complex also reported them as allegations. The reviewed reports do not establish that the claims are true, and they do not explain why the couple separated in 2012.
The reports reviewed do not include a public response from Song to the 2025 claims. That describes the scope of those reports, not whether she responded elsewhere.
