Known for backing her friends with a shotgun, she is Pilar’s sibling and later confronts David when his behavior changes. Her story with Pilar also continues in the official prequel manga Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS.
Who is Rebecca?
Rebecca is one of the Edgerunners in David Martinez’s circle in the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. CD PROJEKT RED describes her as “Fiery and short, she always lends a helping hand — or shotgun — to the cause.” That captures her blunt, energetic presence and her readiness to fight alongside the crew. CD PROJEKT RED’s character page introduces the series as a ten-episode standalone story created in collaboration with animation studio TRIGGER.
How is Rebecca related to Pilar?
Rebecca and Pilar are siblings. The official prequel Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS follows them before they join David’s crew, giving their relationship and earlier lives more space than the anime’s main story does. CD PROJEKT RED announced the manga, while KADOKAWA’s July 25, 2025 notice listed the Japanese first volume for August 28, 2025, and the Dark Horse English edition for February 24, 2026. CD PROJEKT RED’s announcement and KADOKAWA’s release notice provide those publication details.
What does Rebecca do in the anime?
Rebecca is part of the crew’s story rather than a character introduced only in supplemental material. In episode 8, “Stay,” Lucy and Rebecca confront David about his change in behavior, but he refuses to listen, according to Netflix’s episode guide. The scene places Rebecca among the people closest to David as he changes.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Netflix’s synopsis for the finale describes David trying to save Lucy while Arasaka prepares to deploy a lethal weapon. That summary does not specify Rebecca’s fate, so it should not be used by itself to make a claim about what happens to her.
Who voices Rebecca?
Tomoyo Kurosawa voices Rebecca in the Japanese version. Netflix lists Kurosawa in the Japanese cast, and KADOKAWA identifies her specifically as Rebecca’s voice actor. The sources cited here do not establish who performs the English dub role.
