Where did Luke Newton study?
Accounts of Newton’s training conflict. Netflix Tudum’s cast guide says he trained at the BRIT School and then the London School of Musical Theatre. In an interview with The Independent, Newton corrected the widely repeated BRIT School claim: he said he did not attend the school, and instead studied musical theatre at a college near Brighton while working on The Cut. The accounts do not align, so the BRIT School claim should not be presented as settled fact.

A Netflix Tudum feature published June 10, 2026, also mentions his recent off-Broadway appearance, but does not specify the venue or dates.
