Kelly Osbourne’s fiancé was musician Sid Wilson, best known as a DJ and turntablist with Slipknot. Wilson proposed to Osbourne in July 2025, but reporting from August 2026 says the engagement has ended. Wilson is therefore best described as Osbourne’s former fiancé, not her current one, and the reported split is a separate development from his standing with Slipknot.
Who Sid Wilson is
Sid Wilson is a musician whose main work is with the Iowa-formed metal band Slipknot, where he is known as a DJ and turntablist. He is the person the title refers to. Osbourne, the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has been in the public eye since her early years on the family’s reality series, and the two became publicly linked in 2022.

How the relationship developed
Wilson and Osbourne first met in 1999, when Slipknot was touring on Ozzfest, the festival founded by Osbourne’s parents. They spent years as friends before confirming a romantic relationship in February 2022. The timeline below reflects dates reported in coverage at the time of each event.
| Date | What was reported |
|---|---|
| 1999 | Wilson and Osbourne meet while Slipknot tours with Ozzfest. |
| February 2022 | The couple publicly confirm their romantic relationship. |
| May 2022 | Osbourne announces her pregnancy. |
| November 2022 | Their son, Sidney, is born. |
| July 5, 2025 | Wilson proposes backstage at Ozzy Osbourne’s final show at Villa Park in Birmingham. |
| August 2026 | A PEOPLE-sourced report, carried by AOL, says the engagement has ended. |
The proposal at Villa Park
The proposal took place backstage at Villa Park during Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell concert, with Osbourne’s family and friends present. Osbourne later shared video of the moment. ABC News transcribed Wilson’s words as: “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you.” Ozzy Osbourne’s reaction, as transcribed by the same outlet, was a joke: “F— off, you’re not marrying my daughter.” Global News reported a crowd of 40,000 at that July 2025 concert, which is useful event context but not part of the relationship timeline.

What is known about the engagement ending
The end of the engagement is reported, not announced directly by either person. The August 2026 PEOPLE-sourced report describes Wilson and Osbourne as former partners and says their engagement is over. As of October 8, 2026, the reporting available does not include a direct public statement from either of them about the reasons, and there is no reliable basis for explaining why the couple separated.
Because relationship status can change and coverage can be updated, the most accurate way to describe Wilson in articles and captions is as Osbourne’s former fiancé, with the August 2026 report cited as the source.

Slipknot’s reported separation from Wilson
Wilson’s place in Slipknot is a separate question. MusicRadar reported on August 17, 2026 that Slipknot had said it would no longer be associated with him. According to that report, the band’s post announcing the decision was later taken down. Readers should not describe Wilson as a current Slipknot member based on the older coverage of his relationship with Osbourne, since the 2026 report is the most recent update on his band status.

MusicRadar identifies Slipknot’s The End, So Far as the last album Wilson made with the band. For readers who want his most recent work with the group, that record is the reference point, but the reporting does not establish any further details about his future musical activity.
