How the marriage was announced
The couple kept their relationship largely out of public view and then revealed the marriage with a wedding post. The Knot reports that the joint post on November 12, 2024 carried the caption “Best Kept Secret” with a ring emoji, a white heart, and a lock. The Knot also reports the ceremony took place in California and that the couple honeymooned in the Maldives. The ceremony date itself has not been published in the reporting reviewed.
The Knot later reported a joint appearance at Paris Fashion Week in 2025. That is the most recent public appearance together identified in the coverage.

Her nursing background
The Knot reports that Cheyanne graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in May 2023. ELLE reports that she passed her nursing licensing examinations and became a registered nurse in July 2023. Celebrating the result, she wrote, “Officially passed my boards!…It’s now Cheyanne King BSN, RN to you,” as ELLE quoted her. Reporting does not state where she currently works, so no employer is given here.
How the relationship developed
A TV Insider and Swooon profile, citing a Cheyanne anniversary post, indicates the relationship began around May 2023. This is an approximate reported start, not a verified dating date. Gavin has said the two met through mutual acquaintances and bonded over shared interests, including volleyball. The exact date they first met has not been published.
Gavin’s stated preference for privacy is the only explanation given in the coverage for the couple’s low profile. ELLE quoted him from a Cosmopolitan interview saying he would “prefer dating someone who isn’t in the social media space at all.” Reporting does not say more about their reasons.

Current status
The most recent direct public confirmation of the marriage is the 2024 announcement. A Legit.ng article, first published March 24, 2025 and updated May 3, 2026, still describes the pair as married and refers to a February 2026 social media post. That article is a secondary indication, and the reporting reviewed does not include a direct statement from either spouse about their current situation. Readers should treat the couple as married based on the 2024 announcement and later coverage that continues to describe them that way.
