He has largely stayed out of the public eye and off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In January 2025, he testified as an LAPD officer in the A$AP Rocky trial; his role was that of a witness, not a party to the case.
Who is Tommy Zizzo?
Tommy is the son of Erika Jayne, also known as Erika Girardi, and her first husband, Thomas Zizzo. Bravo describes him as Erika’s only child and reports that she has generally kept his private life away from the cameras on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH). Bravo’s March 2025 report discusses her comments about his career and privacy.
Bravo reports that Erika and Thomas separated in 1996 and that she raised Tommy as a single mother afterward. That is the family context reported publicly; it does not establish a complete account of his upbringing. His exact birth date, full education history and other personal milestones are not reliably established in the sources cited here.
What does Tommy Zizzo do?
Bravo has identified Tommy as a police officer. The Associated Press identified him in January 2025 as LAPD Sgt. Thomas Zizzo when reporting on his testimony in the A$AP Rocky trial. Those dated accounts establish his public role at the time, but do not document a current assignment or the details of his day-to-day work. The AP’s January 24, 2025 report covers his appearance as a witness.

Erika has said her son wanted to work in law enforcement from an early age. In a 2016 interview reproduced by Bravo, she said, “I’ve known my son was going to be in law enforcement since the time he could walk and talk.” She also said, “I’m very proud of my son being in law enforcement, but obviously, it can get a little nerve-wracking,” and called it “a dangerous profession.” These are Erika’s descriptions of her son and his work, not an independently documented account of his motivations.
Why did he testify in the A$AP Rocky trial?
Tommy testified as an LAPD officer in the prosecution’s case in the trial of rapper A$AP Rocky, which began in January 2025. The AP reported that Zizzo was called as the first prosecution witness. His testimony was part of the court proceedings; it does not make him a party to the case.

The jury found Rocky not guilty on February 18, 2025, according to the AP’s report on the verdict. The trial’s allegations should not be confused with that outcome or with Zizzo’s role as a witness.
Was Tommy Zizzo involved in the Los Angeles wildfires?
In February 2025, Erika said Tommy had been a first responder during the January Los Angeles wildfires and described him as asking to be deployed. This is Erika’s account as reported by Bravo; the cited coverage does not independently detail his deployment or specific duties.

Is Tommy Zizzo on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
He is not a regular cast member, and Erika has generally kept him out of the show’s on-camera world. She has described him as an adult with an independent life. In April 2025, Bravo quoted her saying, “He has his own identity and his own life.”
That does not mean he has never been discussed on the program or in coverage around it. Erika has shared limited comments about him, but the public record remains much narrower than her own reality-TV profile.

What has Erika Jayne said about their relationship?
In reunion coverage published in April 2025, Erika said, “I see that kid all the time” and “We’re super close.” Bravo also reported that Tommy traveled to New York to see her perform as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. These are updates Erika shared publicly, not a comprehensive account of their private relationship.
A March 2026 Bravo report revisited Erika’s first marriage and a conversation she had with Tommy after it ended. It describes him as an adult police officer in Los Angeles, but provides no basis for drawing broader conclusions about his private life. Read Bravo’s March 2026 report.
