Doma is a demon in the Demon Slayer franchise and holds the rank Upper Rank Two. The official character profile for the anime movie lists him under that rank, and the name is written 童磨 in Japanese. How the official material describes him
The official character profile describes Doma as always smiling and as someone who can come across as flippant. That is a description of his outward manner, and it is the most that the official profile says about his personality. It does not explain his motives, so treat any deeper reading of his character as interpretation rather than fact.
