How did Daymond John propose to Heather Taras?
John has said he proposed to Taras on the set of Shark Tank. In his LinkedIn post, he wrote: “The Shark Tank set is where I proposed to my beautiful wife, Heather.”
Do Daymond John and Heather Taras have children?
They have a daughter named Minka. John mentioned her in the same post about his proposal. A March 5, 2024 episode of the couple-led podcast Color Me Candid: Real Talk with the Johns also focused on their relationship, family life and experiences as an interracial couple. The episode listing describes those subjects; its automatically generated transcript carries a warning that it may not be fully accurate.

What is known about their wedding timeline?
A January 23, 2018 PEOPLE report republished by Yahoo described Taras as John’s longtime girlfriend and said they were planning their nuptials. That report supports the engagement-era timeline, but does not establish a precise wedding date. John later referred to Taras as his wife in his own post.
