Who is Daryl Sabara?
Sabara is an actor best known publicly for his connection to the Spy Kids franchise. Entertainment Tonight describes him as a “Spy Kids” alum, while The Independent calls him an actor of Spy Kids fame.
Those sources establish the role association, not a complete or authoritative account of his acting credits. This overview therefore focuses on the work for which he is most widely recognized rather than attempting a full filmography.
How did Daryl Sabara and Meghan Trainor meet?
Trainor and Sabara first crossed paths at a Los Angeles house party in 2014. Trainor recognized him from Spy Kids, according to Entertainment Tonight’s relationship timeline. They did not begin dating then.

In 2016, actor Chloë Grace Moretz reintroduced them after Trainor said she wanted to meet someone nice. The pair began dating, and Sabara joined Trainor on tour that summer. Trainor later credited Moretz with setting them up, as recounted in The Guardian’s 2024 interview.
When did they get married?
Sabara proposed in December 2017. The couple married on December 22, 2018—Trainor’s birthday. In an interview with The Independent, Trainor described the date as one they share for both her birthday and their wedding anniversary.

Entertainment Tonight’s 2024 feature reported that they had renewed their vows around their fifth anniversary. The feature does not establish a more specific date for the vow renewal.
What is known about their family?
Entertainment Tonight reported that their first son, Riley, was born on February 8, 2021, and that their second son, Barry, arrived in July 2023. In June 2024, the outlet described the couple as parents of two children. Trainor also told The Guardian that she had two sons at that time.

The report’s article page was unavailable for review, so its date, the child’s name and further details are not established here. The checked accounts above describe an earlier point in time and should not be read as a current count of the couple’s children.

In a 2016 CBS News interview, Trainor said Sabara was a musician and that they had written songs together. In 2024, the couple spoke with Entertainment Tonight about bringing their family on Trainor’s Timeless Tour. Sabara recalled the connection between their relationship and touring: “I was stoked ’cause we fell in love on tour, and now seven years later, we’re bringing our two children on tour. So stoked.”
