The couple met as Stanford student-athletes, got engaged in Paris in September 2024, and, according to March 2026 reporting, plan to marry on November 14, 2026, in Palo Alto. As of October 8, 2026, the wedding has not taken place.
Who Ben Felter is
Felter’s background is mostly documented through Stanford sources. The Stanford Rowing Association’s alumni profile identifies him as a 2024 Stanford Rowing alumnus, a computer science major, and a Palo Alto native. On the water, it says he rowed starboard for Stanford’s second varsity boat at the IRA Championships and was a two-time IRCA Scholar-Athlete.
- Education: Stanford computer science graduate.
- Current job (per the Stanford Rowing Association): portfolio analyst at the Department of Defense’s Innovation Unit. Job titles change, so treat this as the most recent reported role rather than a permanent description.
- Graduate study: The Knot’s 2024 profile reported that he was pursuing a master’s degree in computer science with an AI concentration. That was a 2024 report; no source located here confirms his enrollment status today.
Felter is not a public sports figure in his own right. Coverage of him is largely tied to his relationship with Brink, so the profile here stays with his education, rowing and reported career, and the relationship.
How they met and got engaged
First contact
Brink and Felter met as Stanford undergraduates. ESPN reported that Felter first reached out by email rather than direct message, and quoted the opening line as: “Hey Cameron, Wanted to chat you up but I think dms are a bit creepy. Not that an email is much better so here’s my number,” ESPN’s reproduction is the only published version of that message located, and no independent check of the original email appears in the coverage.

The same report says Brink held a bachelorette weekend in Newport Beach in March. The table separates what has been reported as settled from what is still planned or only hoped for.
