Tomas confirmed the breakup in October
In October 2024, Tomas responded to a follower who asked whether she was still dating Garfield. Her comment said: “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved.” The Independent reported that the comment had been deleted by the time of its article and that the exchange was circulated through Us Weekly.
“Months ago” does not provide a reliable calendar date, so the exact timing of the breakup has not been established by the cited reports. Garfield had not publicly commented on the breakup in Us Weekly’s October 13, 2024 report.
