Alexia is a real-estate agent and television personality. Inman reported in May 2026 that she continued working in real estate after Buying Beverly Hills. Bravo reported that footage of her wedding appeared in Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Inman’s interview and Bravo’s wedding coverage provide those details.
How Alexia and Jake’s relationship developed
Childhood friends
Alexia and Jake met in grade school and remained friends for years. Alexia has described them as best friends from elementary school through college. Her mother, Kyle Richards, said they had been best friends since third grade. Kyle recalled that they grew especially close in tenth grade, when they were 16 and could drive around together. Alexia has said she worried that dating might put their friendship at risk. Bravo’s account of their relationship recounts those early years.

Dating and engagement
Their romantic relationship began in 2019. After five years of dating, Jake proposed in November 2024 at the home they shared. The ring had an emerald-cut diamond with two smaller stones, and Kyle helped him choose it. Its platinum band was engraved “sweetheart,” according to Bravo’s engagement and wedding report.
Wedding in Los Angeles
Alexia and Jake married in Los Angeles on September 6, 2025. Their wedding had initially been planned for Aspen before they changed the location. Alexia’s parents, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, attended; her sisters Farrah, Sophia, and Portia served as maids of honor. Bravo published its wedding details on September 7, 2025, in “Alexia Umansky & Jake Zingerman Are Officially Married (DETAILS)”.

Jake’s place in the Umansky family
Jake is Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s son-in-law. In a January 2026 Bravo interview, Kyle said she was glad he had become part of the family: “They’ve been best friends since they were in third grade, and I’ve known him forever, so it’s so nice to have him be a part of the family.” Bravo’s interview with Kyle includes her comments about him.
