Norman Reedus’s best-documented relationships are with model Helena Christensen, whom he dated from 1998 to 2003, and actor Diane Kruger, whom he met in 2015 and was publicly linked to in 2017. He and Christensen share a son, Mingus Lucien. He and Kruger have a daughter, born in November 2018. Kruger and Reedus were reported to be engaged in 2021, but the reporting available does not establish whether they are still together as of October 2026.
Helena Christensen (1998 to 2003)
Us Weekly reported in September 2025 that Reedus and Christensen met through a mutual friend and began dating in 1998. In a 1999 interview, later republished by Nylon in 2014, Reedus described the start of the relationship in more personal terms, saying he met her at a birthday party downtown in Los Angeles:

“When we met, it was just perfect. I met her through a friend of mine, a DJ and an artist in L.A., at a birthday party downtown at this Japanese restaurant.”
The same republished interview describes Reedus as engaged to Christensen and expecting his first child at the time. Us Weekly dates the birth of their son, Mingus Lucien, to 1999.

Us Weekly reported that the couple ended their five-year relationship in 2003. Its 2025 retrospective says they stayed close as co-parents.
Diane Kruger (2015 onward)
Reedus and Kruger met in 2015 while filming Sky, in which they played romantic leads. Us Weekly reported that Kruger was still in a long relationship with actor Joshua Jackson during the shoot. Her split from Jackson, after roughly ten years together, is dated to July 2016.

The public connection between Reedus and Kruger began in March 2017, when the two were spotted kissing in New York, which prompted relationship speculation. Their first red-carpet appearance together came at the 2018 Golden Globes. In November 2018 they welcomed a daughter. The reporting reviewed for this article does not give the child’s name or exact birth date, so neither is stated here.
Engagement reports (2021)
In August 2021, Vanity Fair reported that People had confirmed Reedus and Kruger were engaged. Representatives for the couple declined to comment. Us Weekly later reported that Kruger wore an engagement ring at the Met Gala in September 2021. These are press reports of an engagement, not a joint announcement by the couple, and they are the latest relationship milestone in the sources reviewed.

What the reporting does and does not establish
Celebrity relationship timelines are assembled from interviews, photographs and reports by publications such as Us Weekly, People and Vanity Fair. They are not an official or verified record of every relationship a person has had. Reedus has spoken about his past relationships with models in general terms. In a 2014 Us Weekly interview, he said:
“I’ve been with several. Not any to the extent that… Helena [Christensen] and I were pretty serious.”

Some crowdsourced dating-history pages list additional names. Those entries are not supported by the reporting reviewed here, so this article does not treat them as established partners.
The main limit is currency. The most recent milestone is the 2021 engagement report. Nothing in the sources reviewed confirms whether the couple married, separated or remained together after that. Readers should treat the engagement as a 2021 report and check current news coverage for any later development.
