Her most recent partner in reporting through July 2026 is Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Us Weekly reported that he proposed in July 2026, and Beer announced him as her fiancé. Brooklyn Beckham (2017) and David Dobrik (2020) were linked in press coverage, but neither link was ever established as a relationship.
Who Madison Beer is dating now
Justin Herbert is her current partner in the most recent reporting. The Guardian’s January 25, 2026 interview described Beer as dating the Chargers quarterback. Us Weekly’s July 28, 2026 update reported that the two have made public appearances as a couple, that Herbert proposed in July 2026, and that Beer announced the engagement on Instagram with the words “Meet my fiancé.” Describe them as engaged as of that report, since relationship status can change quickly.

The relationship’s public beginnings are earlier. Dating rumors started after Herbert appeared on the set of Beer’s music video in August 2025. ELLE’s account from that month says neither had commented publicly at the time. A later update to ELLE’s page mentions a February 2026 public appearance together.
Previous relationships, in order
Jack Gilinsky (2015–2017)
ELLE and Cosmopolitan both describe Gilinsky as Beer’s first serious public relationship. ELLE reports that he confirmed the relationship at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards and that it ended in 2017.

ELLE also describes an audio recording that allegedly captured verbal abuse. That is an allegation as reported, and this article does not go further into its details. Beer’s now-deleted message, as reproduced by ELLE, read: “Don’t make the same mistakes I did; your safety is never worth it. No matter what, no one deserves to be treated that way.” In a later Guardian interview, she recalled the online hostility she faced as a teenager from Gilinsky’s fanbase.
Zack Bia (around 2018–2019)
ELLE describes an on-and-off relationship that ended the following year. Cosmopolitan dates it to 2018–2019. Neither source gives exact start or end months. ELLE cites Beer’s March 2019 post, “Single Madison thrives.” Bia later spoke warmly about her in GQ, as quoted by ELLE: “There’s so much love there. She’s someone who’s so instrumental in my life, and I still treat as family. Like, she and my mom are still cool.”

Nick Austin (2020 to spring 2025)
ELLE says Beer and Austin were first linked in 2020 and made the relationship public in March 2021, when Austin shared a birthday tribute. In an April 2025 Cosmopolitan cover story, Beer described it: “It’s intense and fun, but it’s good. We’ve been together for four years, which is nuts.” The Guardian’s January 2026 interview says they dated from 2020 until spring 2025. No precise breakup date appears in the reporting, so “spring 2025” is the accurate end point.
Beer has also addressed the privacy side of writing about past relationships. In the Guardian interview, discussing lyrics about a former partner, she said: “I think that it’s totally inappropriate in regards to people’s privacy.”

Links and rumors that were never confirmed relationships
Brooklyn Beckham (summer 2017)
Beer and Brooklyn Beckham were linked in summer 2017 after they were seen together. In a July 2017 AOL Build Series interview, as quoted by ELLE, she said: “He’s great, he’s a cutie, he’s one of my best friends. Which is hard, because now every time I’m seen with him people are like, ‘Oh my god, they’re boyfriend and girlfriend.’” Cosmopolitan reports that she clarified they were not “official official.” Treat this as a brief reported link, not an established relationship.
David Dobrik (2020)
Cosmopolitan reports that fans read the pair’s appearances together, and their flirtation, as a possible romance in 2020. Both denied being romantically involved. Dobrik should not be listed as a former partner.
