The long-term relationships
Michael Sheen
Beckinsale and Sheen met through their acting careers and were together for roughly the period 1995 to 2003. They have a daughter, Lily. In a 2017 interview with ELLE, Beckinsale said of Lily: “My daughter certainly hasn’t known anything else. She was three when we split up.” In the same interview she said of Sheen: “He would be a friend of mine, whatever the situation.” Their separation did not end their family connection, and the two are not best described as estranged.
Len Wiseman
Wiseman directed Underworld, and the two met on that production. They married in 2004. A 2006 Associated Press report, carried by CBS News, identified Wiseman as her husband and Sheen as her former boyfriend, which places Wiseman in the marriage rather than among the reported romances. The couple separated in 2015. A retrospective timeline gives the divorce as finalized in 2019; that date comes from secondary coverage rather than a court record cited here.

Matt Rife
Coverage from around 2017 describes a brief relationship with the comedian. Rife himself characterized it as complicated. A reader should treat it as a short, reported relationship rather than a long-term partnership.

Whitehall is often included in roundups because the two were photographed kissing around 2018. The reporting does not establish a sustained relationship. The accurate phrasing is that she was linked to him or was photographed kissing him, not that he was a confirmed boyfriend.
Pete Davidson
Retrospective accounts describe a relationship with Davidson lasting about four months, from January to April 2019.

A retrospective timeline places her relationship with the musician between January and October 2020. Another account describes it as nine months, which is broadly consistent with that span.
Current relationship status
The available reporting runs through 2022 and does not establish whether Beckinsale is dating anyone now. Coverage from that period should not be read as a statement of her present situation. Anyone checking a current relationship should look for recent statements from Beckinsale herself or from a reputable outlet published close to the date of the question.

A note on her comments about dating
In a 2021 interview excerpt reported by Vanity Fair, Beckinsale asked: “Do you know I’ve really never been on a date?” She clarified that she meant a setup arranged with a stranger, and she described meeting people through her work. The remark is a playful definition of a conventional date. It is not a statement that she had never been in a relationship, and it should not be used to contradict the partnerships above.
